What is a Classified advertisement?
A Classified ad or advertisement is generally a short ad appearing in a newspaper, magazine, or in the digital media (usually in small print), dealing with offers to sell items like used cars, houses, apartments and/or offer services like jobs, businesses, etc. and appearing along with other ads of the same type.

What is a Wanted advertisement?
A Wanted ad or advertisement is similar to classified ads except that it offers to buy, instead of selling, products or services or assets that one might need. It is also called a Want ad.

What is a Bartering advertisement?
Barter is a type of trade in which goods or services are directly exchanged for other goods and/or services, without the use of money. Barter usually replaces money as the method of exchange. It can be bilateral or multilateral, and usually exists parallel to monetary systems in most developed countries, though to a very limited extent.

A Barter or Bartering ad is where you adverise for goods and/or services that you want to exchange/trade for some other goods or services or assets which may or may not be of similar nature.

How do I post a Classified, Wanted or Bartering ad?
First of all, select the required tab (Classified/Wanted/Bartering) on the homepage and then click on any of the subcategories listed in that tab which applies to the product or service you want to buy or sell or trade. In the subcategory page, click on the 'Post New' button for the type of ad you want to post. Enter a title and a detailed description of the product/service you want to advertise for in the Post Classified/Wanted/Barter page. Enter as much information as you can. You can also upload images or documents of the same if you want, and click submit.

What if my local city is not listed?
Please make a request through our Contact Us form specifying your location and we will seriously consider adding it to our database. Alternately, you can choose a city which is nearest to your place. TIP: Specify your city or locality when you post your ad in the 'Tag It' field, for better search results.

How do I bid for an ad?
Click on the ad row in the sub category page, this will display the details of the ad, click on the 'Bid' button in the bottom of that page. Now enter your offer for that ad posting, you can also add additional notes for the owner alongwith your offer and click submit.

Can I withdraw my bid or my posting?
Yes. For closing any classified, wanted or barter posting, first of all login to My Account and navigate to My Postings on the left column. Choose your classified, wanted or barter section, under the Actions column of the postings select the 'Close' option, this will de-activate the post and no bidding will be possible for the same. Please note that you can only close an active and open post.

To withdraw a bid from a post, go to My Bids, Classified, Wanted or Barter, click on the 'Withdraw' option in the Actions column list. You can only withdraw a bid from a post which is active & open and the bid status is 'Offered'.

How do I contact the owner of an ad?
There are two vey easy ways to contact the owner of a classified, wanted or a barter ad. Firstly, you can send messages by using our Mail form. Click on the mail icon (Mail) of the ad in the listings table for invoking the mail form. You can do the same from the (Classified/Wanted/Bartering) ad details page also. Secondly, you can use our chat facility to directly talk to an owner. Clicking on an active chat icon (Chat_icon) will open the chat window for chatting. Please note that you need to be signed in for both cases.

How do I edit a classified, wanted or barter post?
Sign in to My Account, go to My Postings, choose Classifieds, Wanted or Barter, select the 'Edit' option under the Actions column menu of the posted ads.

How do I view the bids on a classified, wanted or a barter ad?
Sign in to My Account, in My Postings (Classified/Wanted/Barter), there is a Bids column which shows the number of bids on your posted ad, click there to view the list of all bids.

How do I accept a bid on my posting?
Go to My Account > My Postings (Classified/Wanted/Barter) > Click on the Bids column to go to the list of bids page > Click on any of the bid offers and a window will popup with details, click on the button 'Accept Bid Offer', a secondary window will popup with the Bid Accept message, you can add additional notes here if you want, then click on 'Confirm Accept'. Alternately, you can also use the Accept Bid option from the Actions column select list.

How do I complete a transaction?
A transaction is deemed complete when the Bidder confirms or accepts the selection of a bid by the owner of a post. A message is sent to Bidder when a bid is selected. To view the selected bid by the bidder, the bidder shall go to My Account > My Bids (Classified/Wanted/Barter), then for the bid status which indicate 'Selected', click on the 'Accept' option under the Actions menu, the transaction is thus completed.

How do I submit feedback for a transaction?
Feedback is activated as soon as a transaction is complete. Initial active period for a feedback is 30 days only. Once a party (owner/bidder) submits a feedback, it is then active for 15 days for the other party to submit feedback. After that, it is published and de-activated.

The owner can submit feedback on a transaction by going to My Account > My Postings (Classified/Wanted/Barter) > Use the filter to view 'Completed' posts, click on the 'Feedback' option from the Actions menu of the just concluded post.

The bidder can submit feedback by going to My Account > My Bid (Classified/Wanted/Barter) > click on the 'Feedback' option from the Actions menu where the Bid Status is 'Accepted'.
